Why wont my final fantasy chrystal cronicles work?

Why wont my final fantasy chrystal cronicles work? I got i from ebay and it was working fine untill one day i went on it and it said an error has occured please look at the nintnendo gamecube manual. But I dont have the manual! Someone please help me!

1. Sounds like either the disk or the gamecube laser are jacked up! If the disk has too many scratches, the Gamecube can't read it so you might want to clean it with something heavy duty... I've heard of people using toothpaste before but don't hold me to that.
2. It's called time bomb selling people do it alot on ebay. They are only selling the product cause they know it won't last too much longer. You got jipped. Sorry
